Sharpe led the two girls into his home and into the parlor where a Steinway Grand Piano sat in perfect condition, along with a Harpsichord. A gold plated chandelier hung from the ceiling, and there were several candle sconches on the walls. They all had the dimming electric candles, but it added the old feel to the room. The rug was Persian, and actually from Persia and dated at over one hundred and ten years old. On the wall hung two swords crossed, each dated back four hundred years to the time of the Scottish Risings in England.
Sharpe came back a few moments later with two glasses of 1947 wine, "Make yourselves at home."
He was still very uneasy about what was about to happen, but he hoped that the wine would ease Christine into a bit of a looser feeling so that when he actually did what he needed to, it wouldn't be as painful.
Kelly sat on an original 1920's sofa. It, too, was in mint condition as was everything in Sharpe's house. She took the wine and sipped it, "So what exactly's going to happen?"
