"You, we need transport across, NOW!" Sharpe demanded.


"Alright." The boat man replied.

"Get on, quickly." Sharpe said.

"That little bitch is alive!" The boatman exclaimed, the same as the previous one had, "She can't come down here! Get away, live one!"
This stirred the Wrathful spirits up as they, too began to shout things at Kelly.

"And what are you going to do about it?" The boatman sneered.

Kelly sat down on the boat, trying to block out the voices shouting at her.

"Alright, alright, fine." the boatman snapped back, "Sit down, you fucking bitch."

Sharpe stood at the bow of the boat, while the boatman began shoving them off across the River Styx, and through the bog of the Wrathful. Before them lumed the stained walls of Dis. The unholy city, home to the evil vampiric clans, and all those evil demons who inhabited Hell. It was also the sixth circle of Hell, home to the Heretics.


Kelly looked at Christine, her eyes bloodshot, and the skin all red and puffy around them. The constant horrors of this world were beginning to get to her. There was a reason living souls were not permitted here, and Kelly was beginning to show the evidence of why.

Kelly looked up in slight awe at the walls of Dis. Her mind was still realing with the horrors of what she'd witnessed thus far and the prospect of what she would witness at some point.

Sharpe stepped off the boat onto the shore before the gates. The Vampires on the gates gared down at him. Sharpe took a step forward, "Open in the name of God the Almighty Father, maker of Heaven and Earth, of all that is seen and unseen!"

"Those words have no meaning here, nor does his name have any impact!" One of them shouted, "You and your party shall not pass the Walls of Dis!"

Sharpe turned and offered Christine a clever smile. He turned back, "Allow us entry, or perhaps we shall take our prisoner to the Holy ones."


"Just wait there, you miserable beings." The guard said.


Kelly looked back at Christine with tears in her eyes, "What the fuck are you doing, Bitch!?" She was filled with the fear that Sharpe and Christine had just brought her along for the simple purpose of a bargening chip.

Sharpe shook his head firmly, "She'll make it through. We can't do it here, these bastards would be on her in a heartbeat. Just speak comfort to her. I won't change you both!"


Kelly looked at the two Vampires and then up to the wall as the guard came back. her hands began to shake uncontrolabley as her own self doubts, personal fears and the just general evil of the area began to take hold.

"You may enter." The guard said, "Open the Gate!"

Sharpe walked in, followed by the other two. Dis looked like the biggest slums in the worst cities on the planet. It had all the usual businesses, Bank of America, Starbucks, even a Subway, but every once in a while there were what looked like open graves with smoke billowing out of them. The smell of burning flesh was everywhere.


Kelly gaged as she clung to Christine like valcrow, "Wha wha what's this?"

"The Heretics." Sharpe said, "Don't worry, lass, they can't hurt you." Sharpe looked up and saw a large tower in the middle of town, "Now that can hurt you."
